ITWigs was born in March 2018, but its story began much earlier. Before founding ITWigs, Irlaine Tavares was already revolutionizing the wig market in Brazil with Black Wig Brasil, the country's first online lace wig store, founded in 2012.

In 2018, Irlaine decided to follow her own path and created ITWigs, a brand that carries not only her name but also her essence and purpose. Nationally recognized for her hair transformations and impeccable makeup, Irlaine has become a symbol of empowerment for Black women, gathering over a million followers who accompany her journey on social media.
